The majestic Laughing Kookaburra is the largest member of the kingfisher family. A few fun facts:
* Whilst being a member of the kingfisher family, they don't eat fish. Snakes, lizards, small birds, mice and insects are far tastier for the Laughing Kookaburra, and are caught in their beak.
* Their stunning call sounds like a glorious laugh BUT they don’t laugh because they see something as funny....NO.....they laugh to mark their territory.
